We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we use what you share only to respond to you and keep the site working. This page explains exactly what that means.
TOPEYE INC ("TOPEYE," "we," "us") builds free, open-source public-interest tools. We treat your information the way we would want ours treated. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and we will explain.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact or partnership form, we collect the name, email address, and message (and, for partners, your company and what you can offer) that you choose to submit.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are human. It may process limited technical signals from your browser to do this. It is not used to track you across sites.
- Standard server and security data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes ordinary request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and produce privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising trackers or build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
- To read and respond to your message.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — never to identify individual visitors.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not run advertising networks or cross-site tracking.
- We do not ask for more than we need.
Cookies
The website itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare and the Turnstile anti-spam widget may set strictly necessary cookies or similar storage to keep the site secure and verify form submissions.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the site. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, the Turnstile anti-spam check, and aggregate analytics.
- Resend — delivery of the email generated when you submit a form.
How long we keep it
We keep the emails generated by your form submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our records, and then we delete or archive them. Aggregate analytics contain no personal profiles.
Your choices
You can contact us at [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. Because we collect so little, these requests are usually simple to honor.
Children's privacy
Our site and tools are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the date below and post the new version here.
